Trust and Faith

These are the words of a man you know in relationship with God…

Christianity is relationship with God; in the very beginning of the bible, before God gave His first commandment He first demonstrate relationship that is connected by faith and trust.

Have you ever wonder why God who knows everything would entrust His creation to Adam?

In Genesis 2

After days of creating everything from light and darkness, to land and oceans, to everything that has life. God entrusted His very creation that is pleasing to Him to someone whom He knew would eventually disobey Him.

It’s like entrusting your latest brand new iphone which cost you days of hardwork and overtime to a three years old kid.

I believe that this is God’s way to connect to Adam. Make Adam feel that God trust him. Just like every other relationship that we have trust is a vital ingredient. If trust is established everything follows.

It set-ups our faith then it aligns our will to God’s sovereign will…

For anyone who has faith in God’s sovereignty can simply shake-off unfavourable situations.

It was a clear win… Nothing and no one to blame

It was a clear win… Let’s accept it!

A friend posted after the fight. “We celebrate every time he knocked someone out, Pro iba pala ang feeling pag sya na.” It’s true and we need to accept it.

That’s all it takes, stop blaming it to our irrational imaginations.

If there is one thing that the loss brings to us, it’s the opening it made for everyone to have a good way to discuss something that

is often avoided. – Religion.
Specifically, Christianity that is in some way separated by different denominationsThe loss is a sore, but to learn how most of us understand religion is worse. I’m not defending anything or anyone here, I’m not even an expert to this matter but I believe that somehow I can share some thoughts about it.

Why blame it to Religion? Religion is not a magical ritual that can turn gloves into iron, put wings on shoes, cover his body with an invisible Kevlar and a helmet with a punch detector with auto-evade functionality.

Been reading and hearing a lot of blames since the fight. Blame it to pastors, blame it to his not signing-of-the-cross, blame it to his memory verses, blame it his change in religion… the problem why most move us can’t move-on in this loss is because we always need something or someone to blame too.

There is nothing magical about laying of hands nor signing-of-the-cross…
Think anyone you know from your religion Minister, Pope, Church leader, Pastor, Apostle, Disciple, Priest, whatever you call him. Now, think of Marquez giving him that 6th round punch that landed to Pacquiao. What do you think would happen to him?

Guys… religion have nothing to do with boxing… let go of the idea.

This is my definition of religion. It is an organized group with common belief in terms of faith and life after death, following some sort of guidelines to keep their belief and understanding in accordance to their convictions and understanding.

Religion is good, but too much of it will put us out of the track away from God. Christianity is about relationship, first relationship with God, then with other.
Boxing is about entertainment… don’t mix it.

Best thing to do is, congratulate Pacquiao for giving his best and congratulate Marquez for winning. Move on…

God bless everyone..
